The ministry

Mel's Music & Ministry exists to put honest, Bible-shaped music in the hands of people who need it — and to keep it free.

What you will find here

• Songs — original music with lyrics and the story behind each one, free to listen to and free to use in your church or small group.
• Scripture — every song grows out of a passage. The verse is listed so you can go and read it yourself.
• Reflections — what I am learning, written down plainly, including the parts that are still unresolved.

Using the songs

If a song would serve your congregation, a memorial service, a recovery group or a hospital room, please use it. Write to me and I will send you what you need — chord sheets, lyrics, or a clean audio file.

Keeping it free

There is no charge for anything on this site. If you would like to help cover the cost of recording and hosting, there is a giving link in the footer. The shop exists for the same reason — a shirt or a mug helps keep the music free for someone who could not pay for it.
